Soooooooo, I get in my car, and shut the door. Before I even put the key in the ignition, my drivers side window slowly rolls down. I was like WTF?!? Hoping, but dreading the truth, I turned the key and pushed the window button....nothing! Ugh!!!! I YELP'd what car repair was in the area, and saw a AMMCO right up the street with 5 stars. As I was driving close, I saw the sign, but got confused where the entrance was. I saw a lot of cars for sale along the street and then a sign after that said something like maintenance or repair, and followed it. I noticed it said "Bob's", but assumed it was a franchise owner's name. I went into the office and a very nice lady helped me out. There were awards and pics with famous people on the walls. That's always a good sign (no pun intended). She told me they could take it apart, and quoted me the labor. I agreed and waited for the scary part....the total with labor and parts. Meanwhile a guy came in and started small talk. Then, me with my shy-self, began running my mouth and we were in a full blown conversation. During the convo, I asked him if this was AMMCO, but pretty much now assumed it was not, since there wasn't a single sign inside with AMMCO on it. He confirmed I was in the wrong place. I told him, he got lucky that I drove into the wrong place, and got my business. We talked for a while and I found out he was actually Bob! What a nice guy to talk to his customers so friendly. Anyway, he came out a little later to hit me with the damage! Yikes!!! It sucked, especially since I wasn't prepared to shell out that extra money. Turns out the motor was blown in the window, and it's something fairly common with electric windows. But, for the work that needed done on short notice, it was fair pricing. Also excellent customer service. Bob also gave me a great deal when he found out I was YELP elite and was going to review his business. Sweet! I was really surprised he had such low reviews, because I was so happy with my experience. I would come back. Hope I won't have to, but if I do, I will be back to see Bob and his team! :)
