so i got to give mad props to this hotel.
first, they gave us both free cookies upon arrival since it was our anniversary. then, they shuttled us back and forth to the rock and roll hall of fame, dinner at chop cleveland, and back to the hotel. we stopped at the hotel bar, where i ordered 3 beers, but they were out of one type of beer, so i chose another.
once we got to our room, there was a platter awaiting us with a complimentary bottle of champagne, a cheesecake, and german chocolate cake!
to top that all off, 5 minutes or so after we got to the room, we had a knock on the door. it was a waiter who had 2 of the beers i had attempted to order at the bar. he said the bar manager heard about my first attempt to get that beer, so they sent us up 2 of them, free of charge.
great service, clean room. i'm highly impressed.
