I've been looking forward to the Halal Guys opening up in my neighborhood in case I need that late night falafel fix. I'm hoping that with time the owners will improve upon a few of the things on the menu so this doesn't go under like so many other restaurants in Ahwatukee. The gyro meet Doesn't have any lemon in it so the meet comes out crumbly and dry instead of having that lovely slick long slices that real gyro meat has. You should visit Niros Gyros down the street for that perfect gyro meat and they skimp. Not to be nitpicky but it would also help if the guy at the counter actually pronounces the word gyro correctly, and doesn't pronounce it with the G. What supposed to be saffron rice is yellow, under cooked so it's almost still crunchy, and doesn't taste like saffron. The falafel's were great...so good job there.
