This place is legit. Don't be fooled by its off-putting reflective glass - it's definitely friendly/homey inside. The owner is genuinely super nice and hard working. At his suggestion we had the combo plate that came with kalbi, beef jun, and bbq chicken. We substituted the chicken for spam because...well...spam's delicious. We also ordered the chicken katsu which was very good and not dry at all. Both meals came with rice and home style mac salad. I love the korean fusion aspect of the place too. The owner brought us some kimchi/pickled cucumber and radish/bean sprouts. Lovely. The fried dumplings (mandu) were also korean style and YUM. Everything tasted great and we had that warm fuzzy feeling you get from those real hole-in-the-walls after we left. What else can you ask for?
