We came to the down to the down town muramoto today- paid for parking, walked across down town, and were seated. We were hungry and prepared to order.... let me start by saying my family and I are kosher, but overly bitch about it, but there are some meats we simply can't eat. In the past they have honored this and secured repeat business from us. Today--- I tried to order a rainbow roll hold the crab, like I have every time before.... and they told me "no substitutions for all you can eat". I tried to explain nicely that no substitution was required just an omission and it was for religious requirements and the waitress just advised us to order something else or go elsewhere. Half the menu contains nonkosher ingredients and without the abikity to omit thrm the all you can eat really wasnt wprth much to us. I asked to speak to a manager and she repeated her suggestion. We left and won't be back. I love sushi muramoto.... I just wish the downtown location took service as seriously. Seriously seriously dissappointed.
