The Hawthorne is a beautiful place to live. As an owner, since 2012, I think a lot of the reviews are from tenants who are unhappy with the management company - Weidner Homes - who manage the complex. So why not rent from a private owner who will take care of all of your needs instead of dealing with a management company who might not have you as a priority?
Honestly, the Hawthorne offers everything: close to the light rail at Indian School, beautifully maintained grounds, a work- out room and two pools.
I have a 2 bedroom/ 2 bath apt/ condo for rent beginning June 1st. The rent is lower than what the management company is asking for an apt. like this. First floor, close to main pool and completely renovated a year ago. 1042 sq ft. Carpeted w/ granite counter-tops.
No pets. No smoking.
