We finally had the opportunity to dine at Mom's Fixins and it was a pleasure. I had the chicken fried chicken with green beans and fried cabbage ($10.50). Our daughter got the grilled cheese sandwich with butter corn. Everything was delicious! Especially fried cabbage; I wasn't sure what to expect but it was quite a treat!
We also got the banana pudding ($4). You should definitely try it!
Gumbo is only served on Sundays so I have go on a Sunday to try it.
The service was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was casual and family friendly.
