On one of our roadtrips through Cleveland, we stopped at this White Castle/Church's Fried Chicken in Old Brooklyn for lunch because we had this HUMONGOUS craving for those little White Castle hamburger slyders. Okay so we ordered a sack of slyders, crinkle cut fries, honey butter biscuits, and a couple large Diet Cokes. We watched them make our slyders, from the small square beef patties with the hole in the center soaked in grease, to the assembly with beef patties, ketchup onions, & pickles on the small buns. The food tasted soooo good, but was soooo bad for us, but heck, this was a small treat for us on vacation. After we were done, we ordered another sack of slyders for the road, which were gone by the time we passed through Mansfield. I wish they would build some White Castles in Upstate NY and Northern New England. A very long time ago, there was a White Castle located across the street from the Montgomery Ward's Building in Menands NY (outside of Albany NY). For now, we'll just have to stick with the frozen slyders, which is not the same as getting the real thing fresh off the grill.
