Our goal was to go to the home and garden show but due to circumstances beyond our control, we decided to go to lunch instead. While looking for a place to go to lunch, we stopped in this strip mall. The consensus was pizza, so we went to Lamp Pizzeria. We were greeted warmly and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside and to go ahead and pick a table and she would follow us with the menus. The patio is perfect and they are very dog friendly. Lots of choices of regular pizzas and some white pizzas. Since we had three people in our party, we ordered the Gem and the Kensington with anchovies on the side. We also ordered an assortment of olives and some artisan bread. OMG - WOW cannot even begin to describe how much we enjoyed everything! The service was wonderful, the selection is unbelievable (and hard to make a decision too) and the food - excellent! This is our new favorite pizza place. If you like figs and white pizza, definitely try the Kensington! It was not super sweet, the figs and cheese together brought a whole new dimension to a white pizza. The Gem was perfect too and we would be hard pressed to decide on only one pizza. We were glad we didn't order a salad on top of everything too. The size of the pizzas are about 12" and the salads at the neighboring tables looked more than enough for two people. We ended up taking home about half a pizza but we managed to eat the whole loaf of bread and 90% of the olives. We will even order a pizza to go in the future, since we don't live too far from this great pizza place! We also intend to go next door and try the Lamp Cafe - which is mainly sandwiches. Great job guys! Oh as an added plus, we warmed up leftovers today and they were just as yummy. GO HERE!!!
