OK, the rating of this hotel depends on what day it is and who the staff is expecting. (We are in town for a convention.) The first day, we checked in with wonderful service, attitudes and a lovely experience. The second day, a wedding was happening while the convention was going on and the staff was breaking down and setting up the ROOM WE WERE SITTING IN. (Even though, we had the room until 4, the staff walked in hours before four and started rearranging the tables, etc.) That was odd. Later on in the day, a hankering for desert and as such, wandered in to the restaurant (only to be told that in five minutes, the restaurant would be full and they could not seat me.) That was good because I wanted to eat the desert in my room. I was told to order room service. (This would be wonderful if the room service menu had a desert section.) My husband bought a bottle of wine and we requested two wine glasses. I called room service and was told, "If our room service personnel has a free minute, I will send her to your room but only if she has a minute free." I told the room service manager that I would be happy to simply chug wine from the bottle. In general, I was happy on the first day and really impressed. The second day had different personnel and wow, what a difference! We totally didn't matter, no matter what the color of my money.........My advice is to reserve the hotel on a weekday, as the weekend staff is simply dreadful.
