This store needs to close down. Customer service is no where to be found here. The area has changed so they treat people like crap now. I went to buy food and saw a deal on chicken breast, the ones that they package and season. There wasn't a lot to choose from so I got the chicken breast that were seasoned differently. When I proceeded to check out I was told by the clerk that they all had to be the same. I was confused by her statement as the sticker on all the chicken packages said buy 1 get 2 free of equal or lesser value mix and match. I looked at the cashier and said your sticker says mix and match equal or lesser value. She then tells me they have to be the same type so if it is seasoned Cajun then all Cajun. That made no sense because you then eliminate the mix or match on the sticker and then she said they had to be the same price which eliminates the equal or lesser value because chicken is chicken and pricing has to do with weight. I then went to speak with the manager on duty ( heavy set Caucasian male in a purple shirt working on 1/4/18 around 7pm) and asked him about the deal and what the cashier said to me. He proceeded to tell me she was right. Am I in the twilight zone? Did no one go to school? I shook my head and told him that didn't make sense. I left the store. I've been coming to this store for 7 years and have seen the change in ownership, patrons. and staff. The only department that has sane people is the meat department. It's sad that I would rather drive 10 minutes to Smiths to get better customer service. And if perhaps they stuck the wrong stickers on the packaging at least make it right for the customer and correct the issue. I'm very disappointed and if Albertsons continues to run their business like this then I'm sure the store will close soon.
