Well, it seems like the reviewers are divided between those who love the posh surroundings of the Strip (who give Fremont a thumbs-down) and those who think all that stuff is overrated and prefer the "real, old-style" Vegas.
But if there's one thing both of those reviewers can agree on, it's: "For the love of God, don't be an idiot and come here during the day like S.R. did" That's kind of like visiting L.A. on a rainy winter day or Miami in the middle of August.
Maybe I'd give it more stars if I visited at night like the rest of you, but during the day, it looks like some kind of sleazy carnival-midway hell that time just passed by and forgot about. Sad.
