So my sisters getting married so we are all supposed to stay at this place. I didnt expect anything crazy amazing but I did expect to get a non-smoking queen-sized bed room, as I asked for. Well, I called a week before arrival to double check the reservation and the woman told me thats what I have reserved. Great, right. So I just got here and I am in a 2 double bed, smoking room. She said its the only room they have available. I made the reservation months ago and was told I was to be in the room. At this point it was 1AM and I couldnt just find another hotel. Anyway, oh well, the woman at the counter was kind.
So then I was venting to my mom that I was a little bummed about the smoking room situation. And she told me she waited in line to check in for over an hour, they too were put in a different room, there was no hair dryer, mold in the shower. 3 out of 4 elevators are broken. Also, side note, as we reserved more than 30 rooms for the wedding guests, we expected to be kind of close but we are all scattered. Its just the small things adding up and we have only been here 10 hours. Staff have been friendly, except for one rude woman at the desk.
