I am updating a third time and again lowering my rating by one star. I finally (after almost a year) feel like the noise from neighbors is at a manageable level as long as I don't go outside on weekends. When we moved into this apartment we had a problem with heat as in it the inside temperature was umbearable due to windows no matter what we set the thermostat to. Our other window related problem is that our dining room blinds do not cover the entire window and we had quite a few people stopping and peeking into our windows while we cooked and ate dinner. I asked the office if we could put up tint so long as we removed it when we moved out bc both our complaints would be solved without putting holes in the wall. They said yes, not a problem. Almost an entire year has gone by and I come home to a note saying we are violating our lease by having the window tint. I double checked and nowhere in the lease does it mention tint. It mentions other things like decals, etc but nothing about tint. It also irritates me that no one bothered to pick up the phone and call. I have always been very nice to the staff and easy to deal with so why they feel a need to leave nasty, poorly spelled notes is beyond me.
For shoddy maintenence, an inconsistent and sometimes rude staff and the intolerable noise... 2 stars.
