I have stopped by Nadege many times mostly during the summer to fall months for a pick-me-up macaron or pastry and latte. I fell in love with Nadege the first time I set foot in the shop and my eyes fell upon the immaculate rows of beautiful pastries, desserts, chocolate bars, and macarons organized by colour. The pastry shop is white, modern, clean, and small, right at the corner before you reach Trinity Bellwoods. They have a few tables for dining inside, as well as a small patio with limited seating.
Their macarons are delicious for Toronto standards and I would recommend to at least try them if you've never had. Most of my visits have always left me delicious satisfied. However, and hopefully this was a one-off experience, the last time I had macarons from Nadege (salted caramel and pistachio), the salted caramel macaron was brittle, hard, and disappointing, which left me wondering perhaps it needed a bit more maturation time? The pistachio one was fine.
Regardless, Nadege satisfies my craving for macarons and I can never resist going in there when strolling down Queen street regardless of my one-off experience.
