Sabor is in the old "El Jefe's" location on the east side of Stephanie near Sunset. It's a little awkward to get into, because patrons enter the building from what appears to be a side entrance. Once inside, the atmosphere is quite nice, and the staff is attentive. The standard starter is a delicious platter of chips and tortillas with beans and an assortment of spices and salsas. My wife and I have been there 4 times, each time getting something different, so we've tried a large portion of their dinner menu. We've never been disappointed with the any of the chicken, steak, or seafood dishes, as they are always beautifully presented as well as delicious. Sabor is near many other restaurants such as Romano's Macaroni Grill, Tony Roma's, Mimi's, and the restaurants in Sunset Station. I can tell Sabor is having a hard time getting people in the door with all the competition, but once inside, the food and service set Sabor apart from all nearby restaurants.
