I had dinner at Sapphire Creek last night. It was very crowded, so a wait of 40 minutes to be seeted for a party of two. We were taken downstairs, in what they call a lower level, but it was a basement with a walk out. We didn't ask to be seated "downstairs". We were seated at a bar high top. The table was the size of a tray table. Immediately, I was not in the mood for a lovely dinner, which I intended, but rather a quick bite becasue of the surroundings of "the basement"!. Our server, a male who also was tending to the bar of sorts down there, was so rude, it made the experience just awful!! When I asked this server about our simple dinner of a flat bread, and a burger that was taking wasy to long to get,(50 minutes) he snapped at me and said "I don't know where it is, I guess I'll have to ask the kitchen. Like I was a pain, that he had to do his job and find out where our food was! He should have been awasr of how long we were waiting! This is my second time there, and now my last. The first time I was seated in the main dinning room, and we had a lovely server. Crab cakes, are the best they have going. My filet the first time was so dry, especially for the money. It will do well, as it is new, and has the great patio, but they better get their act together with quality of food and servers.
