This review is purely for the vegan soft serve. I have been hunting for good vegan soft serve in this city for a few years, and while there are now a couple of places that offer it, their versions tend to be watery, tasteless, and melt in seconds. That said, I was fully prepared to be disappointed when I tried the ice cream at Marche la Pantry. Instead, I was shocked by how delicious and creamy it was. The downsides (and the reasons this isn't a 5 star review) is that there is only one flavour at a time, and it's quite expensive at $4 for a small cone. Honestly though, it is so difficult (impossible even) to find great vegan soft serve in Montreal that I know I will be returning again and again. I had the orange flavour last week and it tasted *exactly* like a creamsicle. Cleary, I'm excited. If you're a vegan ice cream fan, don't miss the opportunity.
