Add another competitor to the First Markham Place food court bubble tea race. There's no need for an introduction to Presotea, it's probably one of the Top 5 most well-known bubble tea chains in the GTA, and they have several branches for the young adults who adore bubble tea. I was the only person ordering from here when I arrived on a Monday afternoon. There were two employees at that time, but only one approached me and asked what I wanted. I ordered the hokkaido milk tea with tapioca, after previously trying the panda milk tea in another branch. I'm not sure if the milk tea was supposed to not mix together, but there was a large difference between drinking from the bottom of the cup and drinking from the top of the cup. There was a lot more milk in the bottom, while the top had a strong tea taste. I gave it a shake after my first try, but still ended up with the same result. Eventually I got used to it and I found it tasted okay. The tapioca was also quite good, though I'm finding many bubble tea places around the area tend to make tapioca quite well already. Considering the price was $4.20 and the neighbouring bubble tea places are $2.50, I wouldn't be too crazy on returning...especially if I'm not up for milk tea.
