I'm sad to be writing a negative review after TLC was recommended to me by a friend. I made my appointment to move a few weeks before our moving date and everything seemed great. The day before our move, I reached out to TLC and got no response, but I hoped everything was well. The morning of our move arrived and I still hadn't heard back. Our scheduled 8am start time came and passed without word from TLC. After several hours, we were forced to call another moving company and pay an inflated same day rate. Finally, after several calls over several hours, the owner picked up my call and told me a story of being falsely arrested for a DUI warrant that wasn't actually his. He claimed he held all the records of clients so no one could contact me and his movers didn't know my address to come to my home for the move. His story of his arrest changed during the 20 minutes we spent on the phone and it became clear that it was a lie to some degree. In short, TLC didn't come to my house, cost me a lot of extra money, and caused extreme stress finding new movers, and only explained themselves to me after I called them, not the other way around. Would not recommend to anyone.
