This coffee shop is a bit hidden. I live 5 min down the street and have passed Spencer Ave numerous times on my way to the school playground or No Frills, but how did I find The Abbott? On Yelp! So far I have been there 3 times. I like their coffee although I find it varies in strength and taste. The first time I was so wired after drinking half the cup, I had to save the rest for later. And that never happens. But it sure tasted good.. The other 2 times it was fine in terms of the caffeine intake, however I felt the taste was a bit off. Not sure what happened. I guess I have to "investigate" further.. I didn't try any of the bakery items yet as the other reviews have made me a bit suspicious. And to be honest, nothing they had, looked amazing enough that I felt the need to try it. The shop itself is cute. I like the communal wooden table. They have free WiFi and I think I saw a few outlets as well.
