Compared to other locations, this one seems to have fallen apart. The staff is still very friendly and helpful. The gym itself is a decent size, despite being in a lower level basement. I remember signing up at this gym, my first gym, and being quite pleased with the experience and the facility. Now, however, it's gone down the hole I think. The locker room area is always in need of a good cleaning. The showers need desperate maintenance, grime and deposits galore. The shower knobs need to be serviced asap! I cut my finger trying to turn on the tap! The sauna doesn't always work, and no one seems to clean up after themselves in there anyway. I always find water bottles and news papers left in there to dry up. As for the clientele, I don't know what to say. It feels like I'm back in high school. The attitude in there is very jock like. I don't mind working out in a place full of steroid pushing colossi. But I do mind when they all congregate and just sit on the equipment and have conversations instead of working out, I have a problem. And what's worse is sometimes the staff will come and join! It's a very clicky gym, but what do you expect from a small town I guess. I'm glad I moved to the city!
