We did a day trip out to the Grand Canyon with Pink Adventures and it was totally worth it! Firstly, they have a hotel pick & drop off service so you don't have to worry about where you're going to leave your vehicle or getting up early to get to the meeting place. Secondly, the tour van is stocked with snacks yessssssss :) Although it was overcast with bursts of rain throughout, we had a nice drive out to the Canyon, stopping in Sedona and the trading post on the way. Our tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. He was also really good with timekeeping (it was a bit of a hassle with some of the other people on our tour who kept dawdling!) and tried to make the most of our rainy situation. Lunch was provided, and when I had booked the tour I was thinking it was probably just going to be mediocre. Well I was wrong! Sliced roast chicken sandwiches, house made chips, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and cut up veggies was the perfect meal as we looked out at the Canyon. I can't wait to head back to Phoenix so I can go on the other tours, the Sonoran Desert one sounds like a lot of fun!
