This is Vegas and you get what you pay for, and paying last minute $60 for a room right off the strip on a Friday is a good deal, but the rooms are still pretty sub-par. I've never come to Vegas and stayed off The Strip, but Vegas was just where we took our flights in and out of Cabo from, so we aren't here to do the Vegas experience, and we just wanted a cheap room to sleep in after a week of no-stop go go go, and this was one of the cheapest deals with good pics in Hotels.com.
I really wanted to soak in a jetted tub last night when we got in, so I was excited for that bring something in the room description, but our room just had a hospital-style handicap accessible shower. So that was strike one. I also booked a 2 double room, which sounds like it should have 2 double beds, but there was only one. I'm glad the others in our Cabo group weren't with us, but the two of us in a double bed was not ideal, especially since you only get 2 pillows and they didn't have extras when I asked, so it got real uncomfortable real quick. The walls and ceilings are paper thin too, and we were woken to the sound of our neighbors above us chatting.
If I'd paid the full $100+ to stay here, I'd be livid, but pay less than $75 for a room just off the Strip on a Friday night is hard to get too angry about.
