***Southwest Airlines has many flights in between Phoenix and Los Angeles, which makes it a very convenient airline to use (prices are reasonable too); while I am not a fan of their non-assigned seating approach, I was able to move to an earlier flight recently without paying an extra fee, which was a great plus***
