I transferred to new horizons after a bad experience at Momdocs. They were recommended to me by an OB charge nurse at Chandler, I figure who better to get a recommendation from then a nurse who works with all the doctors that deliver there. I first met with Doctor Villa, I was a little surprised to see a doctor in a baseball cap, but it was oddly comforting. He was kind, thorough and listened to me. He answered my questions and gave me solutions, where the doctor from Momdocs said "maybe you are just weird". I then was unable to get in with Villa for a follow up from an OB triage visit for dehydration from excess vomiting, so I met with Doctor Reyes Hayley. I only met with her twice but she was so warm and comforting. She really seemed to care about her patients. Fast forward a few weeks and I had called their office after having some abnormal fetal movement the night before that I was concerned about. They literally got me in within the hour. This was when I met Dr. Swarup. Obviously being nervous he put both me and my husband at ease. When they were unable to fit me in for an ultrasound, Doctor Swarup did the ultrasound himself! I did the remainder of my office visits with him each time I got the utmost care. Then it came time to deliver my son. After my water broke he started to go into distress. Dr. Bradley Wolfe from their Ahwatukee office was on call. She sped from mercy gilbert to chandler once she got the page. She watched the monitor closely as the nurses put me in all kinds of crazy positions. Luckily his heart rate went back up and I didn't need a c-section. She was right there for the delivery, once he was out she made sure he got as much cord blood as he could and made sure baby and I were doing well. ( I did not get that experience with my first son whom I delivered at another hospital). This office is wonderful. Every doctor and staff member I encountered were wonderful. If you are an expecting mom especially one who has already had a baby you know it is very rare that the doctor that you see for your visits is rarely the doctor that delivers your child. So I am glad that I was able to feel comfortable and cared for by every doctor I saw at this office!
