My new, favorite Cirque de Soleil show! Visually stunning, breathtaking aerial stunts, amazing score and acoustics. Each seat had it's own built in speakers that further enhanced my viewing experience.
My favorites:
Storm: Sinking of the invader's ship (excellent introduction to height and movement involved in the show)
Deep: Drowning sequence (wonderfully done)
Climb: Aerial/Acrobatic fight on the Sand Cliff Deck. How do they manage NOT to fall? Wow ...
Forest People: a feast of color, sound and acrobatic movement as they introduce a new world; also a favorite is the dance between the Firefly Boy and the girl twin (amazing acrobatic moves)
Not so cool for me:
Wash up on the Shore: Ehhh, costumed sea creatures, slapstick comedy
Shadow Play: shadow puppets (cute but I did not pay money to see birds fly or dogs being petted)
Definitely worth watching. Can't wait for my next Cirque show!
