For those of you with a sweet tooth, add this place to your list. One of my friends always uses this bakery for special occasions so I decided to give them a try and I was not disappointed. I ordered a dozen and a half cake pops for my birthday dinner. I choose several different flavors of cake (almond, vanilla, red-velvet) covered by different types of icing (chocolate, butter cream, etc.). These were the biggest, moistest cake pops I've ever had!! They were like circular cupcakes on a stick. Seriously, they were so big that the bakery served them upside down :-)
My favorite was there signature almond pound cake with chocolate icing. Heaven on a stick!! All of my guests loved them. Over a year later one of my friends is still talking about them.
I live on the other side of town, so I placed my order over the phone. The lady that I talked to was very friendly. She gladly explained all of the flavor options and made recommendations. My order was ready on time. And when I stepped through the door to pick it up, I could tell by the buttery, sweet fragrance in the store that the pastries would be delish!!
I can't believe:
1. That it took me so long to write this review. This place is wonderful!!
2. I didn't check Yelp before placing my order over the phone. Had I known about the free cake tastings, I definitely would have placed my order in person!! :-)
I can't wait to have another party. I heard this place can do a cake in any shape. I look forward to using them again!!
