The look and feel of the recliner couch and chair that I purchased is excellent. Very comfortable and attractive. We paid thousands for the two pieces in large part because we thought La Z Boy was a big name and would stand behind their warranty. For many years now I have had increasingly broken recliner mechanisms that have occasionally been patched or partially repaired. Each time is a week wait for someone to come and weeks before parts are delivered and the repair is made. Hassles after hassles and even after repair, they don't work as well as new. Embarrassment after embarrassments when I have guests to my home and I have to tell them not to lean on this arm or use that leg rest. We are about to toss them in the garbage, which is in unfortunate because they are beautiful when working.
