Thanks to Yelp, we were able to determine that the Mob Experience at the MGM was more entertainment and less information, and the Mob Museum was more information, presented in an entertaining way. So we chose the Museum. SO glad we did.
This is an amazingly well done museum, covering organized crime, the cops who took them down, and the environment that contributed to it all. This isn't just about the mob & Las Vegas, it is a true education in the rise and fall of some of the most famous names in gangster history. There is a LOT of information and exhibits here...Lots of video and audio, memorabilia and presentations. I began skipping the overcrowded ones, knowing that I'd probably be back. Do not miss the courtroom presentation, where you're sitting in the actual courtroom where the action took place.
No onsite parking -- Your best bet is to park at Main St Station and then find a way to get your parking validated.
