I had my hair done by Jill this week and was so impressed by her as well as by the salon, that I had to come by to share my experience.
I was there to do a total hair transformation from long to short, and Jill did such a fabulous job. I brought some photos in, she looked some up as well, and she did a great job transforming my style.
This was my first time at an Aveda salon and Jill explained to me how Aveda is very much into wellness, and that when I come in for a cut, I get a complimentary scalp massage, and if I come in for a color, I get a complimentary hand massage...I was in love!
Jill gave me tons of advice on how to use certain cuts to increase my volume, as well as styling techniques that would give me more lift. She spent time making sure that I would be able to achieve this same look at home, not just when I left the salon. That meant a lot to me.
Another thing worth mentioning is that I had a great time chatting with Jill. I've had many stylists before who talked to me and converse in a way that just feels like they're doing that as part of the job. I felt that Jill was sincere in our conversations, and that felt a lot more natural to me.
I really love this salon and the stylists here...I'm booked to return in 8 weeks!
