Visiting Charlotte on business and found this place by happenstance. I had an absolutely fantastic dinner. For all you naysayers of the lunch buffet you are missing out. Dinner was of excellent quality and explosive flavors having tried chicken Chettinad and lamb Maharaja. The rosemary naan was addictive.
I do not claim to be an expert on Indian food but based on the fact the dining room was full of what appeared to be patrons of Indian descent I thought that was a good sign. We saw many delicious dishes pass our table and asked the other diners what they ordered. Everyone was friendly and cordial and now I know what I will be ordering next time I come dine here.
Food arrived timely and steaming hot, our waiter continuously checked on us, refilled beverages, took additional orders, and was very attentive.
For those critics that put emphasis on decor and ice in their water I think you are misguided and missing the dining experience. Should you ever venture out of your comfortable neighborhood and travel the world you will be disappointed because its not about the furniture or the ice cubes.
