A wonderful little gem in Old Town Scottsdale. Amidst the trappings of over priced tourist jewelry shops is Over the Top Consignment. I happened by the place after seeing a Louise Nevelson litho in the window. The shop has an eclectic mix of jewelry, glassware, art and other high-end items. For glass: makers include Lalique (including a few lifetime pieces), Baccarat, Daum and Steuben. Art included Nieman, Tarkay, Erte. The rarer (larger) Lladro pieces. Lots of David Yurman and Tiffany jewelry when I visited. When I was last in, depending on your taste, a full set for 12 of Royal Crown Derby was on the central display.
The owner, Liz, known her stuff and stands behind the items she sells. So if looking for a gift (many items under $100) or that special something (many over $1000) I would give Over the Top a crack.
