I did an open-mic at this club last month and hope to be back. It was fun!! The audience was really receptive and forgiving. I am new to open-mic so I'm not sure what the general rules are, but I wish we each had a little more time. Some guys I talked to said they stayed on for 10+ minutes and blatantly ignored the cues (Their words not mine). I followed the rules and cues to finish my short set in approximately 7 minutes. When you do open mic you need to have 3+ people there to see you. Tell them to buy their tickets in advance.
The drinks were good and the menu seemed good (my group didn't order food). The club is small which is nice because it make me feel like I was just talking to a group at a party. I would recommend this club to people who want to practice!
