My first experience at the spa (December 2017) was okay. Yes, just okay. The front area (including seated eating area and retail section) is bright and airy. Front desk staff is very friendly. Went to the women's changeroom - while mostly clean, the sauna had a very rank smell. I didn't bother sitting in there as the stench was atrocious. Went to the waiting area. It's tiny but well stocked with various fruit-infused spa waters. This is where the 'okay' portion of my review comes in. They forgot I was there and the service I was to receive. One by one, other guests were greeted, asked if they needed anything. I was ignored multiple times, helped myself to a beverage and waited. Finally an employee came around and asked what I was getting that day, also forgetting my name. The massage itself was fine. I asked for light pressure, she went ahead with hard strokes and firm pressure anyway. Reminded her I needed light pressure halfway throughout the massage. The next day I was very sore. Not the most relaxing experience. I don't think I'll return.
