Beautiful aerial views once you reach the top of the tower. Emphasis on the word "once" The line to go up is super, super, extremely, ghastly, horribly long.
The reality is there is only one elevator that takes you up and one down. Limited by capacity and a sheer volume of people. You will wait 2 to 3 hours just to go up and wait almost as long to go down.
The saving grace is if you are willing to shell out almost triple the price you can skip everybody and be a "Premier" pass holder enabling you to bypass the poor souls waiting for hours, Capitalism at it's best.
So plan ahead and go early if you plan to wait or ante up and go 1st. The views though are quite amazing and the glass floor is scary cool. Once you come back down from oohing and ahhing the gift shop awaits you.
