Having enjoyed Danzeisen's milk for years, it had always been a mission of mine to visit the actual dairy where the magic happens. Living in Chandler though, it's a bit of a drive. Luckily I had some time on my hands today and found a nice quick backdoor route to get there through the Native American reservation! The staff was extremely friendly and greeted me immediately -- felt right at home. I had a few samples and checked out their selection of items for sale (milk, honey, butter, heavy cream & merch) before settling on a half gallon of the cold brew coffee milk. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors but my personal favs are the strawberry milk, root beer milk, and cold brew. I was a little worried about it keeping on the long drive home, but lucky for me they sell ice packs for $0.50! Worked like a charm and was able to transport the milk home for instant enjoyment. Danzeisen offers tours at certain times in the year as well as classes for making butter. I know I will be back for at least one of the two!
