The first time I went to Superstition Farm was with a local meetup group. We did the tour and had a lot of fun holding the chickens and feeding the animals. I also got a punch card for a free scoop of ice cream every week of my pregnancy (I was 14 weeks pregnant) from Udder Delights (DELICIOUS!).
It was a great experience, so I recommended it to a meetup group that I'm in from north phoenix. The ladies all drove down here when it was cooler (about 4 days after I had my youngest daughter) and we went again!
I was just there yesterday for the Grand Opening of the farmers market, and I have to say... It's about a 25 minute drive, but I'm willing to make it a few Thursdays per month, because it was great. My daughter bought a bottle to feed the calfs, we fed the animals at the petting farm, ran around the bales of hay and had a blast playing with all the trinkets in the store. I hope a lot of the vendors stay consistently, because it was just awesome.
