First time coming here, went for Hero Days. So free admission with military ID, parking was $7 We got here right when the park opened. Went on the giant wave slide & the racing USA colored slide. Barely any wait for either. Both super fun! Went in the wave pool & lazy river. Lazy river is fun, wave pool has monster sized waves. I've been in tons of wave pools in my life but this one takes the cake! 6 ft deep & waves at least 8-9 feet high if not higher. We got seating easily to tan & keep our stuff at, however the later in the day you go the harder it gets to find space. Especially for big groups. We had 5 but had no problem getting tanning chairs near each other. Food is obviously overpriced, same with alcohol. They don't let you bring food/outside water into the park. It was a good experience. I'll go again if there's another free event, but wouldn't waste my time paying admission. If you're a young adult/no kids, there's other spots you can go to downtown for some water fun.
