My mother came to this hospital 2 years ago for a total knee replacement and this month came back again for the other knee. In two years this hospital went from decent to horrible. All the nurses and support staff are rude and careless. No bedside manners. The cleaning lady came into my moms room which she shred with three other people and yelled at them demanding to know who spilled water in the bathroom, without care that all of them have had very recent surgery. Both ice machines on that floor are broken, this is a floor for people who are having knee and hip surgeries, they need ice! The administration is awful. My mom ordered vegetarian meals and everyday she got non vegetarian and the nurses said there is nothing we can do because all the food comes in in the morning. We ended up bringing her food from home. There is no shower on the floor, They hand you a little tub and some towels and a bar of soap and say sponge yourself. Or they have a waterless skin cleaner. Mom had to stay for five days after her operation and she couldn't shower. How hygenic is that?
