I have always viewed the Oak Ridges Food Market as a high quality place to get food. Their prices are a bit on the higher side and for the most part, their produce is a lot nicer than most grocery stores. They also have a great bakery section with some good deals if you look hard enough. The other day, I bought 4 salads from their salad/meat/cheese department. A lady came to complain about the chicken salad she had just purchased and sampled at home. That should have been a red flag, but I'm sometimes not the smartest. I got their beet salad, corn salad, crab meat salad, and quinoa salad. I must have spent $25 alone on these salads. When I went home to have them for dinner, 3 of the 4 salads had spoiled. The only one that was edible was the quinoa one. This makes me question how often they replace their salads, especially when they aren't displayed in large bowls. Unfortunate, because I love getting prepared salads.
