This is yet another novel spot along Queen St. to grab a bite while on a bar crawl or catching a break from shopping. What amounts to a glorified fish and chip shop, Fresh Off The Boat endeavors to bump up the usual menu with some more unusual offerings. I had the soft shell crab sandwich which comes with fries and Cole slaw. This is an iconic dish from the east cost of the US where it has legions of dedicated followers each spring when the crabs are in season. Since this restaurant is obviously using frozen crab, it's not quite the same treat, but it does give you the idea. Mine was tasty, as were the fries and the Cole slaw too. Next time I get the craving for deep fried fish, I'll try something different at this place.
