This is the dentist that my new insurance sent me to. My first visit was simple and good enough. I got some x-rays, needed a root canal, and was scheduled an appointment to return the next week. The office ladies, dental assistants, and dentist seemed kind. I returned today for the root canal. Doctor Huh was gentle and good with getting me numbed. He began the procedure, and not long after starting...needed to get an x-ray. Except, he was only capable of doing it if he was shoving the tool down my throat hard and gagging me. I couldn't tolerate that. He got mad, abruptly stopped the entire procedure, and fired me from his office. He didn't finish the root canal. Won't reschedule me for any other work. Had his office ladies give me a list of dentists that my insurance "may or may not accept". No apology, explanation, nothing. I left in tears while everyone in the office refused to even make eye contact with me. I've had root canals and a lot of major dental work done before. I've never experienced anything like this. On my first visit his dental assistant was able to take x-rays with out cramming tools down my throat. So now I'm sitting here in major pain, embarrassed, upset, and STILL needing a root canal after all of this. It's been 12 hours and half of my face is still numb... If I find out my insurance was charged for the complete root canal price, we will be going to court. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to anyone. (Edited to add: I had the root canal successfully done with no problems, a week later with a different dentist. The problem wasn't me.)
