I had an emergency with my 4 week old pup, one of 13 in the litter, one Friday afternoon. My regular vet couldn't get me seen. I understand that clinics get busy and the receptionist at my other clinic offered me a Tuesday appointment because it was a holiday weekend. I knew I couldn't wait 3-4 days to get my pup seen. I knew Phoenix mountain was around the corner from me so I called and explained the situation the receptionist was friendly and understood the emergency of having a 4 week pup in distress; she offered to work me in and advised me there would be an extra fee for the exam. I worked at animal clinics for years and I was impressed that they'd work in a brand new client! I arrived and they got us in a room immediately, the doctor came in within 3 minutes to ensure pup wasn't critical. Turns out it was low blood sugar and everything was fine. Doctor was extremely kind and didn't push expensive unnecessary test and advised to call and keep him updated if things got worse. The next morning I got a follow up call to see how we were doing. Really pleased with whole staff! Considering changing vets, thanks to their effort.
