I was in, the first impression was just as great as everyone says. Then one of the female barbers, Sophia, comes to me. We talk for a moment, and then I tell her what I want. I asked for a high fade on the sides, going from 0 to 3, with just a trim off the top, and she immediately gets to work. I noticed she was a bit hard of hearing, but I thought I made it pretty clear. She turns me away from the mirror so I couldn't see what was about to happen. Before I could react, she pulls out the electric clippers and just starts going at it on the sides. I thought it was bizarre since the techniques my past barbers have used for fades is making layers before smoothing them into each other. I trusted her and I thought they were just extra large clipper setting to even the excess out. Nope. All the sides of my head are nearly bald and the same length. It's not a fade whatsoever. She said something along the lines of "This is what I've seen on magazines." The top of my head looks just fine, and the entire cut would have looked great it wasn't for the "fade" I received. The damage was $15 since I was student, but even for a great price the cut was horrible.
