According to MTD Supervisors, if you a disabled veteran, and or in a vocational rehab program through the VA, you do not qualify for a Dash pass. Why? Per MTD, veteran disabilities are different than social security disabilities. I know the veterans served MTD and it's supervisors, to protect their freedoms. A disability is a disability. A prosthetic device or a brace for a disability is the same regardless of where it comes from SHAME on MTD for not honoring veterans. If your voc rehab isn't through Pace, MTD doesn't believe you qualify for assistance. What a travesty to veterans to be treated this way by MTD.
