Pros: I give the stylist and receptionist team 5 stars. The receptionist was pleasant and offered a beverage while I waited. My stylist, Danielle, was great. She was funny, she completely got what I wanted done and my hair looks great. The salon itself is pleasant. Cons: I give the management zero stars (or I would if it were possible). Here's why: I booked online, which included giving my credit card in case of cancellation. The next morning I called to see if I could change my time, and the live person I spoke to at the salon changed my time. So far, so good. Then, 1 hour before my scheduled appointment they left a message that they were cancelling my appointment. I called to find out what the issue was and I was told that "the system" overbooked and I needed to come in on a different day. I was treated so rudely by the booking person and the manager, who basically implied that it was my fault that they had overbooked the chairs. I explained that I had confirmed with an employee that morning, and that I needed my hair done for a special event, and that with their late notice I didn't have enough time to find another salon. After some conversation she agreed to fit me in, but she could not have been more rude about it. She basically hung up on me after agreeing to "make it work somehow." Look, I get that things happen. And maybe if they had owned the problem and apologized for it, instead of making me the bad guy, I would have done my own dang hair and let it go. But they are sorely lacking in customer service and this will kill their business if they're not more careful. Too bad, because their stylists seem to know what they're doing.
