I received a notification on my phone from Lyft saying "We've added $100 to your account, for 10 free rides up to $10 each. Credit expires in 20 days. So, where to?" - cool, I thought! I normally use Uber, but this was a good opportunity for me to revisit Lyft, especially since I've been using the service so much lately. Well to my surprise, I've taken 5 trips now with Lyft and have been charged for the entire amount for all of them. I contacted support over a week ago, with no helpful response. Then, this past weekend we cancelled a Lyft request almost immediately after placing it as our friends offered us a ride, and yet we STILL got charged for this. Mind you, it's not like they have a number I can call to speak to someone, and it's not like they're returning my e-mails. No thanks, Lyft, I'll stick with Uber.
