This organization is an outstanding resource for the Phoenix area. Everyone I've met is polite, professional, and extremely hard-working. They see the worst of humanity in the animals they save every day, and their public relations are still spot-on.
The new director of the organization is actually a veterinarian, and is bringing some revolutionary new ideas and sound practices to the table that are heads and tails above what any other area shelter is accomplishing. From all of the shelters in Phoenix I've visited - from the county animal controls to the fancy-lobbied 'no kill' shelters - Arizona Humane is the top of the list.
