There are too many good things to say about this place, so I won't try to begin listing them. As a Restaurateur myself, I follow the food trends and restaurant awards in our great town...both of which are picking up quite a bit lately as Charlotte becomes a true culinary destination.
One thing I do not see enough of are high held praise for Custom Shop. Custom Shop is one of the restaurants that helped seed the culinary scene in our town, and I think often gets overlooked by the latest and greatest. The simple fact is there are few places in Charlotte, old or new, that execute with at same level. CS knows what it set out to do, and does it very well.
This spot should be on your very short list of the go-to restaurants in Charlotte, plain and simple.
